Local Community Foundation Seeks Input From Seniors

The Rusk County Community Foundation (RCCF) is a local philanthropic organization started in response to an anonymous donor’s desire to benefit charitable organizations in the Rusk County area. The RCCF, organized and run by a volunteer board of local business owners and community leaders, is currently gathering information regarding areas of greatest need in the Rusk County area. The RCCF, which builds permanent endowed funds that provide grants and programming to local charitable organizations, has identified Seniors as an important part of this community. “If your organization provides goods, services, or events for Seniors, we want to hear from you,” said Lori Stushek, business owner and RCCF board member. “We know there is a need out there, and we are interested in collaborating with other groups to better serve the Seniors of Rusk County.”
To register your group with the RCCF, or for more information, visit their website, at www.ruskfoundation.org, call 532-0772, or contact one of the RCCF board members: Kathy Pakes, Kevin Smith, Carolyn Snyder, Gloria McGahey, Andy Albarado, Eleanor Anderson, Bev Dukerschein, Dinah Hahn, Sandy Roth, or Lori Stushek.
